FAQ

Online Appointment & Consultation FAQs

How do I make an appointment?

Please call +82-2-555-1369, and we will book your preferred date and time. We take appointments and consultations by phone.

What information should I provide when booking?

Please tell us your name, phone number, and preferred date. If you also tell us which you would like to be seen for (Presbyopia & Cataract, LASIK & LASEK, Retina & Glaucoma, or Dry Eye), we will prepare the necessary tests for that day.

How late can I book an appointment?

On Mondays and Fridays, we are open from 09:30 to 18:30; on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 09:30 to 19:30 (evening hours). On Saturdays, we are open from 09:30 to 15:30 with no lunch break. We are closed on Wednesdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

Can I visit without an appointment?

Walk-ins are also welcome. However, many visits involve tests that take time, so booking in advance usually shortens your wait.

How do I change or cancel an appointment?

Please call us at +82-2-555-1369, and we will help you change or cancel your appointment. If you contact us in advance during clinic hours, it also helps other patients.

What if I can’t get through by phone?

Email us your name, phone number, and inquiry, and we will review and get back to you.

Is parking available?

You can park free of charge in the Shindo Venture Tower building. Because the building uses a mechanical parking system, SUVs cannot be accommodated; for patients undergoing surgery, we provide SUV parking in the adjacent building on the day of surgery only.

How long does a first visit take?

Your first visit involves many tests, so it takes some time. We therefore try to schedule your first visit when you have plenty of time. The tests required vary depending on the type of care you need and the condition of your eyes, so please let us know when booking.

Can I have tests only?

Yes. We will explain your test results and proceed only with your consent, so you do not need to decide on surgery that day. When booking, please mention that you plan to have tests only.

Should someone accompany me on the day of surgery?

We recommend coming with a companion. We do not recommend driving yourself on the day of surgery, so having someone with you will make it easier to get home.

What should I do if I think I will be late for my appointment?

Please let us know in advance at +82-2-555-1369. We will check the day’s schedule and suggest an available time.

Are both eyes operated on together, or do you leave an interval?

We usually leave one or two days between the two eyes. This may vary depending on your eye condition and the surgical method, and we decide it at your consultation after testing.

How many follow-up visits will I need after surgery?

It depends on the surgical method. For SMILE LASIK and implantable lens surgery, we see you the day after surgery and at 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months. For One-Point LASEK, visits are at 5 days, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months. For cataract surgery, we check your progress the next day and at 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months.

How is the surgery date decided?

We decide after you complete the tests and review the results during consultation. Recovery time varies by surgical method, and we take that into account when setting the date.

If I submit an Appointment & Consultation request on the website, how will you contact me?

If you leave your name, date of birth, mobile phone number, treatment area, and inquiry, we will review and contact you by phone or text.
