FAQ
No. You wear the lens while sleeping to gently reshape the central cornea, so there is no surgical process.
No. We examine corneal shape and thickness, prescription, eyelid and tear film status to determine eligibility. For high myopia or high astigmatism, or strong eyelid tension, it is not recommended. We cannot say whether it is possible without examination results.
If the prescription is high, the lens may put too much pressure on the cornea or may not stay centered on the cornea. The decision is made based on the values measured in the examination.
It varies by person. The course depends on corneal shape, prescription, and sleep time, so we do not state a fixed period. We check at the scheduled follow-ups.
Consultation is available for children, teens, and adults. However, it is not recommended if allergic conjunctivitis is chronically severe or sleep time is irregular.
We check your tear film first. If dryness is severe, we may treat it first and start lens wear later.
Our ophthalmologist personally examines you, prescribes the lens, and guides you on wearing it.
Wear it while sleeping. If sleep time is irregular or less than 6 hours per day, it is not recommended.
If you stop wearing it, the cornea returns to its original shape. Then you will need glasses or lenses again.
It depends on age and eye condition. Dream Lens is not surgery and is reversible, but it requires daily wear; which is suitable is determined through examination and consultation.
If the corneal curvature is below 40 D (too flat) or, conversely, too steep, we do not recommend Dream Lens, because the lens cannot settle stably on the central cornea. Curvature is measured at the first exam, and we advise you based on the results.
Yes. You can have the exam first and decide on wearing the lens later. After checking corneal shape and curvature, your prescription, and your eyelids and tear film, we review the results together. We skip unnecessary tests and repeat the important ones to reduce the margin of error.
Dream Lens is a lens that gently reshapes the cornea overnight to correct vision during the day. The speed of myopia progression differs by child; we monitor it with regular checkups, and after the examination we will advise whether it suits your child’s eyes.
If the cornea is too flat or too steep, or if allergic conjunctivitis is severe, it may not be recommended. We first check with corneal topography to see whether the lens design is suitable.
After precision testing to check corneal shape and prescription, we make the lens to fit your eyes. When you first wear the lenses, we also provide instructions on use and precautions.
