Who performs the surgery?

The Medical Director, Dr. Gye Hyeon Pung, performs the surgery personally. From preoperative test review to postoperative follow-up, the entire process is managed by the Medical Director.

Can I book with a specific doctor?

When you book, tell us what symptoms you’re coming in for and we will guide you according to your needs. Please call our main line at +82-2-555-1369.

Which doctor handles glaucoma screening?

Dr. 기현주 provides glaucoma screening and laser treatment. If you have been told your eye pressure is high or have a family history of glaucoma, you can be screened.

Can I receive retinal injection treatment as well?

We provide retinal care and injection therapy, overseen by the Medical Director, Dr. Gye Hyeon Pung. Whether to proceed is determined after reviewing your test results.

Will the same doctor see me after surgery?

The Medical Director personally performs and oversees the entire pre- and postoperative process. The same doctor continues your follow-up visits.

Can glaucoma and cataracts be managed at the same clinic?

Dr. 기현주 handles glaucoma screening and laser treatment, and both doctors treat presbyopia and cataracts together. Because presbyopia/cataract exams can also reveal other eye diseases such as glaucoma, care continues in one place.

Do you also provide oculoplastic care or treat pterygium?

Eyelid and pterygium care is provided by the Medical Director, Dr. Gye Hyeon Pung. Whether to proceed is decided after checking the condition of the eyelid and conjunctiva.

Which doctor treats dry eye?

Both doctors treat dry eye. The treatment plan is decided after examining the tear film and meibomian glands of the eyelids.

Which doctor should I see for a vision correction consultation?

Both doctors provide consultations for LASIK, LASEK, and implantable lens surgery. Surgery is performed directly by the Medical Director, Dr. Gye Hyeon Pung, and which method is possible is determined after measuring corneal thickness and shape and your prescription.

Do the doctors’ schedules differ by day of the week?

Do you also provide Dream Lens care for children?

Our SMILE · LASIK · LASEK Center provides Dream Lens care along with LASIK, LASEK, and implantable lens surgery. Whether it suits your child depends on their eyes, so we can only advise after an exam.
